Good day,

I got lost and I am hoping you can help me.

I am now sure I will be using SC package 3, that's for sure.

Unfortunately, not so sure about the data though. I guess I need tick data for the studies to be 100% accurate, for example BidVolume vs. AskVolume. I need the graph to be as realistic as it would be in real time live trading later. Every bar on replay should be jumping from Low to High until it closes. Are really tick data what I am looking for?

Is there any way I can buy Sierra Chart Real-Time and Historical Exchange Data Feed and papertrade it properly on replay/playback without having a trading account created and funded with money? I red I have to own trading account, but I am not sure to what it applies to.

I will be papertrading Dow Jones (YM), does that mean I need to buy Real-time data with fee exchanges of Dow Jones indicies? So SC package 3 (24 USD) + Real-time data (35 USD) + exchange fee of Dow Jones (3.25 USD)??

Thank you for your precious time and patience,

Martin

You only need the Sierra Chart Historical Data Service if you only plan to do replays and do not require real-time data.

Make sure you have a tick by tick data configuration:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_TickbyTickDataConfiguration.php

Open a chart for YMU15. Re-download the data with Edit >> Delete All Data and Download. The replay will be tick by tick.

Dow Jones indices does not include the YM futures. It only includes the Cash indices. And from what we understand you do not need real-time data. Real-time futures data is too expensive without a trading account.
