How do I show total contracts traded at the time on the trade dom? There's bid and ask on left and right, is ther a way to show contracts traded? and how do I show the volume profile on the trade dom? thanks for your help in advance |

for example on this trade dom right hand side we have at the bottom 97 contracts went at bid, 692 went at ask

sorry let me revise on tradedom2.png we see the order flow blue column and red columns splits into two, the outer columns shows bid/ask offers being added or taken away and in the middle those are the orders going at market. I want to have something like this to see the order flow, does sierra have this feature? |

Hi. When futures open later i will post an images of how i have set up the dom to mimick Jigsaws inside bid and ask feature. You can go to trade dome setting now and set up the columns the way you like. Its located under Global Customize Trade Columns. I use cumulative last size column and place it between the bid and ask. With recent bid volume and ask columns on either side of cumulative last volume. Its the best i can get so far. Maybe Sierra can make it exactly the same. There would be no copy infringement as its showing the inside bid offer in a easy to read manner. Which is where the real market is trading at. The resting offers i don't place much weight in. To many games played there but that's always been the case. Maybe someday a reconstructed tape be offered too........... |

@User650681 Thanks in advance, yes I am refering to jigsaw's dom. Will be waiting for your instructions. And I will let sierra support chime in to see whether they can do this as well |

@toews&kane You can add volume profile to TradeDOM in Chart -> Studies menu. Just add Volume by price study and set it up in a way you want. You can also add Recent Bid/Recent Ask columns and Current traded Bid volume/Current traded Ask volume columns in Trade -> Customize tradeDom columns. Please refer to the link below for detailed description of the columns http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_GlobalTradeSettings.html#ChartDOMColumnDescriptions Would be very interesting to see comparison between Sierra Chart and Jigsaw in terms of recent bid/ask traded volumes. AFAIK Jigsaw uses different algorithm for what it called "Recent Bid/Recent Ask volume" in Sierra Chart. |
