This has been bugging me for quite some time. The daily bar looks like this http://i.imgur.com/ZZhKzyI.png for today before the market is open. Since its a RTH only bar chart, it should not print a bar at all. I'm happy to just see the current price line until the open and then the bar start printing, as all my other intra-day RTH only charts do.

SC datafeed.

Does the bar change if you select Chart >> Reload and Recalculate at that time before the open?

Also the bars in the chart will include all of the trading for each day. It is not possible for them to be regular trading hours only.

I apologize, I didn't do a good job of expressing the exact problem. Have a look at AAPL historical daily bar chart here before the open today http://i.imgur.com/HfJTDaZ.png

See how it has the exact looking upper part of the bar as the bar from yesterday? This is what's it's doing every day, it uses old data from yesterday to plot a wrong bar for today. I just did a reload & recalculate and it did not fix it. I have checked the overnight price data, and it did not trade up there to those same highs as yesterday as is being shown.

The problem does fix itself once the RTH open begins and I reload. And these bars are indeed RTH only, despite you last comment.

We are going to be looking into this, and seeing what we can do. The problem could be originating at a point which we have no control over.

I think I have been having issues with daily bars with you guys for quite some time now. I am a long time customer, a big fan of your product, and have been very patient with this. Please fix it. It disrupts my ability to scan daily charts each morning looking for potential stocks to trade. Thank you in advance.

We did implement a solution to this, but it caused a problem with the daily high and load data, but we are going to be working on it again. It still may be 2 to 3 weeks away.
