Overlaying bars to be able to see both

I would like to recreate an indicator that overlays both ask and bid volume where I can see both. The indicator that I am trying to create is at the bottom. I want to see both the amount of ask and bid volume on the same bar. I have the ask volume colored green and the bid volume colored red. I have made the ask volume column narrower than the bid volume. The problem is that if the ask volume is less than the bid volume, the bid volume blocks out the ask volume. I have seen a display where this does not happen. I have tried using the transparent function but that does not give me the result I have seen. Actually the blocking occurs when the bid volume is less than the ask volume. Sorry for the confusion.

Your example has the bid volume narrower than the ask, but to do the opposite as in your text and in the attached pic, do this: -Move the Bid Volume study above the Ask Volume study in the Studies to Graph list -Set the bid volume's color to red, the Draw Style to Bar, and the Width to 9 -Set the ask volume's color to green, the Draw Style to Bar, and the Width to 4
