I'm trying to do a simple chart overlay of one chart on another and the OHLC values from the source chart are not reflecting reality on the second chart. Changing scale to independent and using different regions does not fix it.

And this bug was actually reported back in 2011 with no resolution: http://www.sierrachart.com/supportboard/showthread.php?t=29451

The issue here is related to volume charts. What needs to happen here is for the most current bar of either the source or destination chart to be the last bar printed. The same issue should affect difference and ratio bars but in the case of difference bars there's a setting for zero values when dates don't exactly match. Both overlay and ratio bars probably need this setting as well. I realize there are other studies like the non-sync and price overlay that *might* also work, but I haven't tried those yet.

Generally an advanced question like this and also does not have specific details is not within the scope of our support. If you are using the Study/Price Overlay study, have a look at the available inputs with that study to see if you can accomplish what you want.

We cannot provide further help with this.

I'm describing to you a problem with the way one of your provided studies does not work. That is *not* outside the scope of your support - it is part of the product itself.

I'm using the BUILT-IN overlay bar study with 2 simple charts that you can see right there with my attached files. You can precisely see how it is NOT working correctly due to the way the overlay study handles volume charts.

That is not "advanced", that's a *lacking* in the logic of the study you guys provide.

This constant attitude is really starting to alienate me as a customer here and you need to get a grip on it. Your job is to support the users - it is not to dictate to the users what is and isn't valid use cases. People are paying good money for the product monthly for both charting and data feeds. This is not a CHARITY effort - you are being PAID.
