Sierra Old spreadsheet version is not working

I reformatted my computer and had to re-download Sierra chart Old spreadsheet version. It downloads fine, but when i try to open Sierra Chart simply nothing happens. Then i downloaded the new spreadsheet version and everything works properly. I even attempted to download an old version of sierra chart with old spreadsheets and that didn't work either. Any suggestions why this is happening?
