When I follow these instructions:

Nothing happens. No Spread symbols appear as shown in your picture.

It does not matter if I am in Simulation mode or Live account mode.

I have tried various instruments eg ES, CL, 6E - all with no success.

This means the AMP FIX adapter does not have the spreads loaded.

So would it not be wise then for SC to change the documentation I linked to so that you either delete that section completely or at least say it is not available. Because the way it is written now makes it clear that it should work.

Possibly. But it might work at some point in the future and that page is an identical copy to this page:

Spreads should be supported and we are not sure why.
