How do you create a candle bar over Numbers bar??

Hi, I saw someone but a candlestick box over the "bid and ask numbers bar" so that you can see the shape of candlestick. He said something about creating another chart and using Study/Overlay. But not sure what this means. Another person exhibited this by "current price line study set to draw style color bar/color bar hollow" but this shows just an overlap of candle and not an actually box. |

Not sure if you figured this out already, but if not, this can be done by using the Overlay(Bar) study and overlaying the same Chart Number that the study is on. In the Subgraphs tab set the GraphDrawType to Candlestick Bars Hollow.

I have a 200 delta volume per bar chart with the Highest High/Highest Low over 1 bars with a Stair Step Style... and that study is hidden. Then on a 20 delta volume per bar chart, I use the Study Overlay feature that puts the 200dv candle HL on top of the 20dv bars. This lets me count the number of contracts bought/sold by +-200 while only looking at the 20dv chart. I luv SC. |
