using Color Bar Based on Alert Condition, this simple alert:
L<ID107.SG3 where ID107=Bollinger Bands
produces a signal when the bar low is below the price of 1.0900--nothing to do with the Boll Bands.

same code applied to Color Bar Based on Alert Condition has the same result.

please advise

Do you have 107 studies on your chart? Maybe there's a limit.

This works:

=L<ID1.SG3
where ID1 is the BB study
