You did not get an answer because the question did not make any sense to us. We do not understand what you meant by inverting an image by a specified number of degrees. From our perspective it came across as an unreasonable request and these will get no attention from us.

Chart >> Chart Settings >> Invert Prices has been fully implemented except for when trading.

Did you test it?

And do not use Range bars when inverting the prices. If you do not know how to set the range properly that is not something we are going to help with.

PS do you foresee this functionality working with range bars?

You can use Range bars.

Make sure you set the range correctly. That is all. You just have to look at the prices and determine what the appropriate range is.

I had too much trouble with the function "invert price" in the chart settings, but I have been able to get the price inverted using a price/study overlay. I was able to invert the volume study as well, but am having trouble with inverting Volume by Price. I get nothing. I was also wondering, if it is possible to flip the image by a graphic's setting and then adjust accordingly so that price is readable? I have also tried to set the volume at price multiplier in the chart settings to -1, but it changes to 4294967295.

You cannot invert the Volume by Price.

In general, you are only creating trouble for yourself by using that setting.

If you are having difficulty do not use it and it is not something we are willing to provide any further support on. We have to make that clear. We are not providing any further support in this regard.

Actually we need to make a correction, it is possible to invert the Volume by Price study by using the Invert Prices option in Chart >> Chart Settings but you need to set the Tick Size in Chart Settings to correspond to the price changes. Sierra Chart does not determine what that will be and therefore in some cases you will not get a correct display for Volume by Price.

If you cannot figure out what the correct Tick Size is, it is not something we will help with. You should be more than capable of determining that on your own if you are deciding to invert prices to begin with. You should understand what you are doing.

When using the 1/Price study, the Volume at Price data is not inverted and that is where the problem is. But that is not what is being used in this case.
