I have an intraday chart set for bar period type at 5-0-0 with the vol by price study set for each 5 day period. Settings are Multiple Profiles Fixed by Time, Time Period Type for Fixed by Time: Days, and Time Period Length for Fixed by Time: 1. How do I get each 5 day bar to Start on Monday? Currently a new bar starts today.

Thank you got it. However a slight problem has occurred. Prior to changing to the settings above, I had candlestick up and down fill colors set to black and using just the candle outlines. After making above changes up candles and red candles are filled green and red respectively even though the graphics settings for the chart show they are still set at black.

All we can say is check the color settings: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_GraphicsSettings.html#Intro Chart Settings have no effect upon color settings in any way. That is an impossibility. Certainly the values of the price bars will be affected and that could affect the coloring, but the coloring logic does not change. Downloaded 1243 over the weekend and the chart is starting on a Tuesday instead of Monday according to my settings. It was fine prior to download.

Does data for the particular Monday you are expecting to be loaded, actually exist in the Intraday chart data file for the particular contract month and year which is loaded at that point in time for the Continuous Futures Contract chart you are using? You need to open an Intraday chart for that particular contract and check it. To identify what particular futures contract year and month you need to open a chart for, enable Chart >> Show Rollover Dates. Regarding my post #1 am I able to monthly charts on the intraday? The historical monthly is not giving me an accurate V by P.

Yes this is now supported in the latest release of Sierra Chart. There is a new Bar Period Type for Intraday charts named "Monthly Bars"
