I am trying to get historical data for Apple (AAPL). I'm using the SC Historical Data Service, and was able to successfully download Crude Futures Data using this service. My SC version is 1241. When I try to open a chart for AAPL, i receive no data and these messages in the log file: SC Historical Data | Connected. Historical Intraday data will be requested. | 2015-03-25 22:31:51 Currently no data in file to display. Will start historical data download and real-time updates. We can see that you are not using Windows. This is the relevant error message: Reading for a HTTP request (2) failed. Windows error code 18: No more files. | 2015-03-25 22:32:09 * It is your responsibility to determine how to solve this. We do not know. The relevant part of it is that the code is 18. The description about no more files is not correct. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Bob77, did you figure out how to work around this? I consistently get empty .dly files as well when tring to get daily data (WINE setup). No problem intraday. I thought it might come from upgrading WINE from 1.6.2-19 to 1.6.2-20 recently, but rolling back does not solve it for me. (Nor does deleting .dly files to force a new download, of course.) |
