Cycle highlighter from Brian Millard as explained in his book Channels & Cycles. It's a kind of bandpass filter. Added a sinewave that you can line up with the cycle. It plots into the future. Can be used with my former indicator the Hurst Inverse MA.

hi ehlaban, thanks for your contributions. how do you draw the hurst channel in the first place though to highlight the trading cycle before applying the inverse MA? do you do this simply by inspection? I understand that the inverse MA is only useful once you have identified the cycle of interest. I am wondering if there is a better way to identify the cycle length in the first instance. what do you think about fourier for this purpose? any suggestions? thanks M

Hello, i don't have much time lately to respond. You can also do some manual inspection on your charts for identifying cycles. You can then use these tools to get confirmation. Of course you can identify cycles with tools like fourier analysis and DSP. Another way is to look for Hurst cycles like 10, 20, 40 and 80 days etc and then use these tools to confirm.
