In v1234 when a Study (for example a simple moving average ID1) is displaced +1, then a Color Bar Based On Alert Condition is applied based on ID1, the output is not displayed on the diplaced value. This is demonstrated when a point/triangle is selected and code for crossing ID1 is used in the Alert box.
Can this be corrected with an option to display from the displaced setting in a future release?

You need to adjust the Subgraph >> Displacement setting in the Color Bar Based On Alert Condition study.

For clarity, when the moving average output is displaced +1 and the Color Bar Based On Alert Condition study is displaced +1, the alert is drawn on the moving average level one bar following the trigger. It should be drawn on the moving average of the bar in which the condition becomes true.

We see no problem with this at all. So we are not understanding it.

Here is an example of the bars colored when the ADX is over 30:

The ADX is displaced forward by 1.

Support, please see attached charts. EURUSD 15 Pip Range Chart, 3 period Simple Moving Average displaced+1 (ID1). Color Bar Based on Alert Condition set to "Based On ID1". Alert code =AND(O<ID1.SG1,C>=ID1.SG1)

Chart "A": Display as Color Bar shown correctly.

Chart "B": Display as Triangle on MA shown in correct bar but at wrong level. Color Bar Study not displaced.

Chart "C": Display as Triangle on MA shown in incorrect bar and at wrong level. Color Bar Study displaced+1.

The objective is to pinpoint the alert correctly with a Triangle display.

I trust you can see the problem now.

We understand the problem now. The Input Data from another study that the Color Bar study is based on, needs to have the displacement applied.
