I have an account with Interactive Brokers. I trade with Sierra Charts Trading Platform DOM and am very satisfied with the connection of Sierra to Interactive. These are live trades in the Futures market. I want to set up a second Sierra instance on which I want to trade stocks. These trades will use the Sierra platform but they will be Simulated using DOM Are the Data Trade Setting in Global Settings the same for both instances of Sierra? Can I have the two instances of Sierra connected to the live data feed of Interactive with one DOM for the futures LIVE and the other DOM on the Stock instance Simulated?? I am unsure that the trades on the Simulated DOM in Sierra Chart although Simulated is checked, will be placed with Interactive as LIVE? At some time in the future this will not be an issue because I plan to trade futures and stocks LIVE, but until then I have to practice with my strategy for the stocks. Is my Edition of Sierra Group 3 sufficient or do I need to move up? Fred |

You can connect to Interactive Brokers TWS in another copy of Sierra Chart on your system using the same Data/Trade Service Settings. You only need to change the "Instance" number.
