I am trying using the macd crossover study with a normal macd study in region 2. I have both studies set at 12 26 9 exp. ma. I notice that the arrows indicating a macd crossover are sometimes accurate, other times slightly off and still other times shouldn't be there at all. I pasted an image of my chart http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1425143911567.png with vertical lines I drew intersecting the macd crossover arrows and the actual macd study to indicate the problem arrows. I drew boxes around the arrows that are wrong and ovals around those that are correct. What am I doing wrong?
