The OEC symbol settings for corn, soybeans, wheat, etc are incorrect. The depth displays correct for corn, for example, when I use a price display format of .01, and a tick size of 0.25. However, when I place an order, I get:

"Trade Order Error - OEC order update (Rejected). Text: Order price is outside the limits 'Ask of 38625.00 violates High Limit of 410.25'

I get the same error when I leave the price display format as .0001 and tick size of 0.0025, and instead use a real time multiplier of .01.

How can I set it so that it's sending my order price as 386.25, instead of 38625.00?

For the record these Symbol Settings are correct.

Thank you -- I have found the problem, though I do not know the solution.

So if I use the above settings, I see corn as 375.25 on the DOM when using SC exchange data. However, if I go into my OEC software and place an order to buy at 3.7525, it shows up on the SC DOM all the way down at 3.7525, since the format is different.

Thinking I could change the real-time multiplier to 0.01 in SC, I did this. Well, the DOM still looks fine, depth all good, now with a format of 3.7525. However, when I go into OEC software and place the same buy order, it shows up on SC DOM at 0.037525. So regardless of the number format, the order in the system does not match the SC exchange data.

What to do here?

any update to this? As it stands, I cannot really even look at corn, soy beans, etc with the SC data feed and definitely can't trade them.

We are checking on this now. We did not fully understand the problem previously.

This is now solved.

It is unlikely the symbol settings were incorrect to begin with and that what happened is OEC changed the decimal point position for these agricultural commodities.

Restart Sierra Chart to get the updated settings and re-download the data in the chart.
