Hi. Would this study work on foreign exchange currencies such as the euro. I downloaded it. Applied it to a 5 min euro chart and it shows just a bar. I guess its the overnight range bar. thanks in advance. |

The study runs off the regular hours open and the overnight open which are set in the chart settings of the study chart. Make sure those times makes sense. I have not experimented with having only one 24 hour time period, say 8:20 to 8:19, with no overnight, but you can try that too. Hi Warrior, great work!!! I've dreamed about this and I have finally found it. Windotrader has this option, the only one I knew of. Only thing is that - for my eyes I can't have dark backgrounds - so I was wondering if it were maybe possible to change the colours of the letters. Black? Thanks, I'll use it anyway but on white it's kind'a hard to sMatteo |

Hello all, Surprised there is still interest in this study. I still use it and love it. Just compiled the CustomProfile study for 1522 with Visual Studio 2015. No changes were needed so the older dll I last posted should also work. Matteo, I don’t set the font. It probably uses the SC default font you have set up. I will work on the color changing option. Will try to post something this week. If you can leave a public email I can give you a private study a Dalton student would appreciate as well a bounce some trading ideas with you. Hi WarriorTrader, May I ask for some guidance: I trade both the US night and pit sessions and would like to display a custom split profile for the overnight session as well as and additional to the SC TPO study. I tried to set this up but during the overnight session, the previous pit session's split profile shown only and there is no profile for the current ON period. Can this be somehow modified? Maybe I try to set up something wrong... The session template (overnight/pit session start/end times) are correctly set for both the source (with your study) and the target chart. ticinotrader, Yes, the study was designed to ignore the overnight profile. I can add the overnight profile later. For now you can setup another chart and replace the regular trading hours with the overnight start and end times. That way the overnight profile will be displayed. Thanks for your interest, --WT |

Hi guys this study is not working for me on version 1587. I have set the day and evening trading hours to make it 24hrs but the study doesn't show the chart after i apply it. stays as a candle. If anyone can advise i would very grateful. |

Doesn't work for 1586. Added it, nothing happens. Question: What is the use/point of the study? High/low of sessions are quite clear looking at the MP as it is and displaying letter in own column is something basic and availale by default isn't it? Sorry not trying to crtiticise but just to understand the point of it as I am clearly missing something here. Many thanks |

Dom7364, The study allows one to have two profiles of the current day on the same chart. It also allows you to put a profile on a bar chart that is not using the TOP Chart Study (Market Profile). You can also combine time frames: like using a 30 minute profile with the TPO Chart study and a 15 minute profile with the Custom Profile study. is there an option to colour in Single prints zones and buying/selling tails zones? There is a native option in SC to extend a line where there is a single print but it is just a line, it would be great to have an extended rectangle filled in with the choice of a colour within the zone. Same for buying and sellin tails, which can't be extended even with a single line natively at the moment. I know we all can see a SP and BT/ST and draw by hand, but this would make things even better and esier as there are a lot of other moving parts and things to oberve when order flow trading. Thanks

Hello, I have updated the Custom Profile for the current version of SC. Deletion of the profile is not working yet so you will have to close your chart book to delete the profile. Should get that working this weekend. The Custom Profile Fill Space study is also included. Load it on the remote chart that the profile is displayed on so you will have one space added to your fill space every 30 minutes. This way the profile will never get covered and you don’t have to manually add fill space throughout the day.
