Gentlemen - I just had a scary encounter with a piece of software I unfortunately downloaded from the internet. This was Kingsoft Office which is a free alternative to Microsoft Office and is supposed to be very good according to CNET at emulating MS Office. Almost immediately after downloading and installing this software, it required (through a popup) an upgrade. When I unfortunately clicked OK, and I looked a minute later, it was uploading god only knows but likely the contents of my computer.(up arrow going on and off). The point is this: If someone gets enough information off my computer and goes to your "Retrieve Lost Password" section in Account Management, specifically Option 3, and supplies enough information, can they log into my account and discover the identity of my brokerage firm and/or determine my account balance from Sierra Chart. Rick.

can they log into my account and discover the identity of my brokerage firm and/or determine my account balance from Sierra Chart. Rick. They would have to get your brokerage account username and password to be able to do this. This information only resides on your computer. Not on a Sierra Chart server. And that is in a file which is encrypted, so we do not think this is a realistic concern.
