Changing Tick Size on FX Numbers Bars

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I'm very new to this: Is it ok to change the tick size of, for instance, the GBPUSD from 0.00005 to 0.0001 on a numbers bars chart to filter out some noise and also make the bars easier to see on the chart? Or would this somehow result in inaccurate numbers bars? Thanks.
