[Locked] - Rithmic connection down, second time this week.

Do we have any feel as to whether this chronic problem will ever be solved? Is it a hardware deficiency, or an ongoing coding issue? Yup I can confirm that my Rithmic is down too. I just spoke with Amp and they confirmed that Rithmic is down and they are working on it. I had this happen a few weeks ago but have not had the ongoing issues you are experiencing....

I cant connect rithmic on Sierra, but it is working fine with Multicharts . I am trading on MC right now as I had an open position when Sierra when it disconnected. shane |

Sierra Charts just connected again with Richmic after about 20 minutes off line.

Wow that is interesting, my convo with amp led me to believe it was all of rithmic, thanks for posting....

Even though MC stayed connected, I could not connect with RTrader either. I use RTrader by rithmic to connect in an emergency, but that did not work either. Support at Multicharts has informed me that I may have been receiving data , but they doubt I would have been able to actually place a trade. Weird, huh ? shane |

Connection is restored, but loading data takes 15 minutes(!) as it has all day...unacceptable. Running SC pkg five. Tom |

If there is a problem with the downloading of historical data when using Rithmic, start a new thread on this support board about this. This thread is being closed.
