SUPER URGENT REQUEST Hello Sierra Chart Support, One of the things I appreciate most about Sierra Chart is its exceptional workflow efficiency. I also appreciate your continuous efforts to make the platform even more efficient. Thank you for that. However, a change in the latest version has unfortunately made one of my most frequently used workflows substantially less efficient. I use Quote Boards extensively throughout the trading day, constantly adding and deleting symbols, often in fast-moving markets. Previously, adding a symbol was extremely efficient: simply type the symbol and press Enter. After upgrading to the latest version, adding a symbol brings up a pop-up window, requiring me to move the cursor into the window, enter the symbol, and then click OK. What previously took one quick action now requires several steps. Because I repeat this process numerous times throughout the day, the additional steps significantly slow down my trading workflow, especially during fast-moving markets. This change is having such a substantial impact that it is making Sierra Chart extremely difficult for me to use efficiently. I have three urgent requests: 1. Please restore the previous, highly efficient method of adding symbols to Quote Boards. 2. If there is a reason for the new method, please provide an option in Settings to retain the previous method, so users can choose the workflow that works best for them. 3. Please let me know which version introduced this change, so I can temporarily revert to the last version that supported the previous workflow while a solution is being considered. I understand that changes are made with the intention of improving Sierra Chart, and I sincerely appreciate the tremendous attention you give to the platform's functionality and efficiency. I would be extremely grateful if you could give this request urgent attention, as it is affecting my trading workflow throughout the day. Thank you again for your continued efforts to make Sierra Chart such an outstanding platform. |
