Dear Sierra Team, Just wanted to flag this to you, maybe some others are or have experienced the same issues since the latest release with focus on Time and sales related studies. On my orderflow instance (renko + footprint + DOM + Time and Sales) my chartbook with 2 charts in it kept freezing (after the update). I have multiple studies I built myself two of these with exposure to time and sales, so my immediate focus was on these to see if they are the culprit. They may have I am not sure, I recompiled them, checked them one by one added them removed them spent a good amount of time with them. At the end simple removal of market depth stopped all freezing and after adding it back on the charts became much faster (I always make sure market depth settings are lean on CPU and recalculations). So I concluded this may have been the issue for me. However even with this market depth remove- add back, when I replay a chart the replay window freezes for minutes (chart is being replayed, it works but replay can not be controlled). So I can not say I am totally out of the woods just yet. The above is likely not specific enough for you to identify exact cause, my intention here is just to flag these in case something with the new release still needs patching (?). I never know if issue is at my end or not so I always try to do due diligence before raising anything. Cheers Best Regards Gabor |
