Feature Request: Separate Color for Evening Session TPO Profiles

I use separate RTH and Evening Session times as shown in the screenshot, with the TPO study configured to exclude Evening Session profiles except for the most recent day. I use different colors for the IB and subsequent TPO periods to visually distinguish the different phases of the RTH session. This is an important part of how I read my TPO charts. However, there is currently no option to assign a separate color to the Evening Session profile. The RTH-based coloring doesn't really make sense for the Evening Session anyway (e.g., there is no IB starting at 16:00 New York time). As a result, distinguishing between RTH and Evening Session profiles always requires an additional mental step. It would be very helpful to have an option to assign a single, uniform color to the entire Evening Session profile (e.g., dark gray), regardless of the period-specific color settings used for RTH. I don't need the full range of TPO coloring options for the Evening Session, just one additional color setting to make it visually distinct. |

If we can get native ACSIL support for changing subperiod colors via custom studies this could be done relatively easily, you could then just calculate the time in the study and highlight the subperiods based on that. I posted a feature request here: ACSIL Feature Request: Support for modifying the color of specific TPO subperiods I know a few other TPO traders who would probably consider switching to Sierra Chart if they saw support for this. Not many trading software can do this, but it's such a useful thing to be able to highlight different things on the TPO. Sierra chart is already on another level when it comes to customization, but this would really take it to the next level. |
