Subinstance Automatically Connects Main Instance to Data Feed

I have a second installation of Sierra Chart on my secondary computer. I use the main instance along with Subinstance 5. In the main instance, under Global Settings → Data/Trade Service Settings → Common Settings, I have Connect on Program Startup set to No. When I initially launch Sierra Chart, the main instance remains disconnected, as expected. However, when Subinstance 5 starts, it automatically causes the main instance to connect to the data/trading service. I have also changed both Connect on Program Startup and Reconnect on Failure to No in Subinstance 5, but the main instance still automatically connects. I would like to have both the main instance and Subinstance 5 open without establishing an external data-feed connection until I manually choose to connect. Is there a setting that will prevent Subinstance 5 from triggering the main instance to connect automatically? |

If the sub instance is automatically connecting and those options are not preventing it, then this is by design and cannot be changed.
