Associated Watch List Improvements

Hi,
The Associated Watch List is, I feel, not the best way to access different symbols on the DOM/linked time and sales. A vast improvement would be a drop down menu as most other platforms utilise.

The Associated Watch List pop up menu does not even have a minimise icon, which would be maybe a minimum fix for this situation, where one could minimise the window and then simply call it up easily without having to go to the chart menu then reselect it. Or an icon on the dom to call up the watchlist window?

Is it possible to either build the DOM with a symbol drop down menu or at least have the ability to call up the A-watchlist from an icon on the DOM?

Many thanks also for a great product

It is in our longer-term development plans to add a Symbol drop-down list box to a ToolBar which can be added to any detached window.

We will add a minimize option to the Associated Watch List window in the next release.

I'm still in the camp that there should be an easier method to quickly change symbols on a DOM. Also, the associated watchlist needs to be manually updated, the contracts do not roll

This has been supported for probably more than six months now. Refer to:

What we will also do is list on the Watch List on a control bar, the futures contract symbols that are listed on the Find Symbol window for the same futures contract as the active chart.

The associated watchlist is not centralised, so there is a different one per chart or DOM window. SO each list needs to be manually maintained individually, unless there is some way to centralise control over this, ie a master watchlist?

The symbol dropdown menu/custom toolbar implementation is really great btw

There is no way for central control but you can certainly import and export lists of symbols for it.
