Hello Engineering,

I use the Trading Levels study/service daily & I manually update ES2 through the website using Edit Levels → Save. I am trying to automate publishing my workbook’s comma-separated price levels using your documented SetPriceLevels API. I am able to logon using my SC credentials.

The request is an HTTPS POST to:
https://www.sierrachart.com/API.php?Service=SetPriceLevels&SCDLLName=Annapurna%20Massif&Symbol=ES2_TEST

The POST fields are AdminUsername, AdminPassword, Service=SetPriceLevels, Data, StartDate, EndDate, and ExpirationDate. Data contains 38 comma-separated prices. I am using the same Sierra Chart account credentials that allow me to manage the service through the website.

The response is:
ERROR: INVALID_ADMIN

During testing, two ES2_TEST entries appeared with the requested dates but no price levels, as shown in the attached screenshot. The existing live ES2 entry remains populated. A subsequent attempt returned INVALID_ADMIN without adding another entry.

Could you please clarify why this account is rejected by the API, and whether any additional authorization or request changes are required? I suspect the 'edit/save' function needs to be accessed somehow.. but not sure how.

Also, once this is resolved, how should the API update an existing symbol/date-range entry without creating duplicates?

Thank you,

Benjamin
