Hello,

The global cursor isn't working in version 2963. Could you take a look at it? Thank you.

We do not see any problems with this. For the charts where the Global Cursor is not working, go to the Tools menu on those charts and make sure the Chart Values tool is set as the active tool. (We did fix a problem where the global cursor would show on charts that do not have the Chart Values tool set as the active tool and that is wrong! That actually was an oversight. This is now fixed and will not change.

Also refer to these settings:
Tool Settings >> General >> Tool Options >> Use Common Drawing Tool for Charts : Yes

Tool Settings >> General >> Tool Options >> Allow Change of Common Drawing Tool for Trading DOMs : No

Thanks for the quick reply.

But I don't want to use the Chart Values tool on any of my charts. I have the Hand tool set everywhere because it lets me move the charts easily.

To display Chart Values (crosses), I have this setting enabled:

Tool Settings >> Chart Values >> Action When Other Tools Selected: Always On When Using Other Tools.

Thanks to this combination, I can easily read values on the axes while also moving the chart.

With the global cursor enabled, I could very easily perform intermarket analysis—that is, hover the cursor over individual bars and compare them across windows (on other symbols). How am I supposed to do that now? Does that mean I now have to switch to the Chart Values tool in every window first, every time I want to do this?

We understand this particular scenario. We will implement support for that condition as well.
