Hello Sierra team, I used to be able to subscribe to some 500-700 stock symbols with my Consolidated equities feed, running in a separate installation as a scanner. I'm using the intraday file update list with no charts open. There has never been a problem before, but for the past days the connection has become horrible. Heartbeat logging message delay at 40-60 seconds with 3-4mb send buffer size, 25-40 outstanding send buffers. It is practically unusable. I also run a "clean" installation with no IFUL, no problem, runs like a clock. I've tried increasing remote buffer delay to 1000ms, high compression, only port 443. This did no difference. Also, it does not seem to matter what server I'm connected to. I'm situated in Sweden. Both installations version 2947. Have spent days trying to figure out what is causing this. Please help. |

This is going to be due to network connectivity. We see you are over in Sweden. There is no doubt this is due to network connectivity. It is not a problem on the Sierra Chart side. The only possibility is for you to lease a server somewhere in the US Midwest running Windows to run Sierra Chart and then use a remote desktop connection into it from your location.
