Unable to load more than 6 months of Historical Data

Hi, Im trying to load around two years of historical data on the chartbooks, but I cant get the charts to go back any further than roughly 6 months. I've tried changing the historical data/download settings and a few other suggested fixes, but nothing has worked. Could you please advise what I need to change to load the full two years of data, or request remote help. Thanks |

I have already tried these, it doesnt load more than 6 months of data, it reverts back to the previous date which is 6 months

Please get us an image of your "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Data Limiting" window.

Your "Date Range in File From" is showing as "2026-02-05". The documentation we had given in post #4 gives instructions on how to change that entry so that it is set to however far back you want to get the data. Here is the information on how to do this: - On that window, set the "Date Range in File From" to be as far back as you want to have the data for that symbol. So if this chart with 365 days to load goes back the furthest then set the "Date Range in File From" to "2025-09-01". - Select "OK" after changing the "Date Range in File From". - You will be prompted as to whether you actually want to download the data going back to that date. Answer "Yes" to this query. - Wait for the data to download. That should take care of it. Following these exact instructions what happens is after I select 'ok' a prompt does not come up and nothing actually happens, the chart settings window closes and when i go back to the chart settings the 'date range in file from' is reverted back to what it was previously.

I would appreciate if this could be fixed asap as im unable to use sierra chart as intended and im unable to trade. Thanks |

We do not know why you are not getting the popup to change that date. It looks like you are running an older release. Please update to the latest release to ensure you have all the current changes. We need for you to be on a current release and see if this issue is still occurring.
