Hello, I'm currently experimenting with saving Trade Window configurations. I've noticed that not all settings can be saved as part of the configuration. For example, the “Color Same as Chart” and “Trading Keyboard Shortcuts Enabled” settings are not saved as part of the configuration. I’ve read the documentation, but I couldn’t find a precise specification anywhere regarding exactly what is saved in the configuration and what isn’t. Is there a list somewhere of what can be saved? Trade Window Configurations are not about saving the trade related settings in the system. The Trade Window Configurations are specific to the orders that are setup in the Trade Window for the Parent Order and the Attached Orders. Refer to the following: Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Using and Changing Between Different Trade Window and Attached Orders Configurations There is no configuration option that changes how things like "Color Same as Chart" and "Trading Keyboard Shortcuts Enabled" are set. Yes, I understand. I just wanted to point out that it’s not obvious at first glance which settings can be saved in the configuration and which cannot. I think it would be helpful to include in the documentation which Trade Window settings aren’t saved to the configuration. I had to figure that out on my own through testing. I would have saved time if there had been a list of what’s excluded from being saved. |
