Use Server Side OCO Orders — does it apply to DTC-submitted bracket orders?

I am using the DTC Protocol Server with an external client that submits orders on MGC (E-Micro Gold). Sierra Chart build 57695, Windows Server 2022, data and trading through Rithmic Direct - DTC.

I am building bracket submission following "DTC Messages and Procedures", section "Bracket Order Procedures" — the parent submitted via SUBMIT_NEW_SINGLE_ORDER with IsParentOrder set to 1, then the two children via SUBMIT_NEW_OCO_ORDER with ParentTriggerClientOrderID set, the two messages sent consecutively.

My understanding from that documentation is that the OCO pair does not become active until the parent is filled or partially filled, and that the children carry ORDER_STATUS_PENDING_CHILD until then. That implies the children are held by Sierra Chart rather than resting at the trading service.

QUESTION 1

When "Use Server Side OCO Orders" is enabled, does it apply to OCO orders submitted over DTC, or only to orders entered through Sierra Chart's own order entry?

QUESTION 2

If it does apply to DTC-submitted orders, are the child orders then resting at the trading service rather than held locally?

Specifically: if Sierra Chart loses its connection to the service while a bracketed position is open, would the protective stop still be active at the service and still execute?

QUESTION 3

If the children are held locally until the parent fills, is there a window between the parent fill and the children being accepted during which the position has no resting stop order? I would like to understand the expected behaviour so that I know what my client needs to handle itself.

QUESTION 4

Is there any way for a DTC client to determine whether a given child order is held by Sierra Chart or is resting at the service?

Thank you.
