First of all, please excuse the imprecision of this writing: I am using an online translator from Italian to English. These are my settings on XXXXXX.net. As you can see, to display two Volume Profiles—one on the left (5 sessions) and one on the right (2 sessions)—I have to combine two charts. When backtesting historical data, I have to configure each chart individually, which means double the work. I am looking for a program that offers a simpler, more efficient solution for backtesting past dates—ideally all on a single chart with as few clicks as possible. I also tried the "Volume Drawing" tool, but it’s a paid feature on Multicharts.net; plus, it requires so many mouse clicks to clear the various drawings from the chart that I don't really save any time. In the example, I’ve placed a 5-day daily "last" VP on the left and a 2-day "last" VP on the right. These values are adjustable—I can increase them to up to 3 months on the left and 5 days on the right... which is my ultimate goal. Note: I set both VPs to "last" because, based on my testing, the "every" setting doesn't suit my needs; I want to see—looking back in time—what the volumes were 2 days ago and 5 days ago... day by day. If I set the volume intervals to “every,” it only calculates every 5 days and every 2 days—so it skips from one 5-day mark to the next, and from one 2-day mark to the next. I need all the dates, not just intermittent ones. I look for past “volume confluences” across both long and short timeframes—day by day. I moved slowly to give you time to observe the settings in detail; you can always pause the video and restart it whenever you like. 1) minute 0:22: see the structure table for the two charts in MultiCharts (you can also skip this part) 2) minute 0:33: starting from July 1, 2026, I set the first chart to the next day, July 2 3) minute 0:59: starting from July 1, 2026, I set the second chart to the next day, July 2 4) min 1:30: the chart has been updated to July 2 – the same applies to the two VPs (5-day and 2-day) 5) min 1:44: starting from July 2, 2026, I set the first chart to the next day, July 3 6) min 2:19: starting from July 2, 2026, I set the second chart to the next day, July 3 7) min 2:40: the chart has been updated to July 3 – the same applies to the two VPs (5-day and 2-day) 8) min 3:00: starting from July 3, 2026, I set the first chart to the next day, July 6 9) min 3:32: starting from July 3, 2026, I set the second chart to the next day, July 6 10) min 4:09: the chart has been updated to July 6 – the same applies to the two VPs (5-day and 2-day) 11) min 4:41: starting from July 6, 2026, I set the first chart to the next day, July 7 12) min 4:58: starting from July 6, 2026, I set the second chart to the next day, July 7 13) 5:33 min: the chart has been updated to July 7 – as have the 5-day and 2-day Vps.
