Iam implementing a direct DTC client for order routing to the Sierra Chart Simulated Trading and Teton live trading servers. Market data will remain entirely inside Sierra Chart. The external DTC connection will be used only for order submission and trading/account updates. I understand from the documentation that the connection uses: - TLS - DTC Protocol version 8 - Binary with Variable Length Strings - Standard DTC logon with the Sierra Chart username and password Could you please clarify the current provisioning procedure: 1. How do we receive the hostname and port for the Sierra Chart Simulated Trading server? 2. How do we receive the hostname and port for the live Teton trading server? 3. Are additional access rights required for a Sierra Chart account to connect directly with an external DTC trading client? If so, how are these rights enabled? 4. Does an external DTC client use the same account-assigned Teton endpoint shown in the Sierra Chart Message Log, or is a separate endpoint provided? 5. Please confirm whether the standard Sierra Chart username and password are the only credentials required for the DTC logon, with the available trade accounts then obtained through TRADE_ACCOUNTS_REQUEST. Thank you. |
