help with custom study

i built a custom study on one of my machines through Visual Studio and then just copied the .dll to my sc data folder....i want it on another computer i have, so I emailed the .dll file to myself, downloaded it, and copied it onto that machine's data folder, but the custom study is not showing in the add custom studies can you please advise
