I was simulation trading MES on June 19, 2026 and ran into an issue with a bracket order that I'd like some help understanding. Here's the sequence of events: - 9:33 AM PT — Entered one long MES contract via bracket order - 9:42 AM PT — Sell limit placed at 7566.75 - 9:45 AM PT — Price reached 7567.75 - My sell limit did NOT trigger despite price trading through it - 9:49 AM PT — Position was eventually closed by my sell stop at 7563.25, resulting in a loss My sell limit should have been triggered when price hit 7567.75, as that is one point above the limit price of 7566.75. I'm wondering: 1. Could this be related to the fact that I was in simulation mode? Does sim trading handle limit order fills differently than live trading? 2. Is there a known fill behavior or setting in the platform that could explain this? 3. What can I do to ensure this doesn't happen with real money in a live account? I'm happy to provide screenshots of the chart and price action, as well as my trade activity log if that would help diagnose the issue. Please let me know what you need. Thank you, |

Thank you for the quick response! I wasn't aware that an update was needed. I just updated to a "current version." How can I tell when a new version is available and when I should update?

The current version is listed on the right side of our main webpage at the following link: https://www.sierrachart.com/ There is also a link there to the "Version Notes", which can give you an idea of what has changed, although we do not put out notes for every version, or for every change. We recommend updating once a month or once every few months to keep up.
