Need help with NQ DOM displaying at .50 increments, with Recent Bid/Ask Volume not aligned correctly. I added all images that have to do with the settings I have. I've been trying to set my NQ DOM up in .50 increments, but anytime I change my ticksize to 0.50000 from 0.25000, my Recent Bid & Recent Ask Volume disappear. If I keep my ticksize at 0.25000, but change my Scale Increment in Scale Settings too .50, the scale shows .50 like I want, but my volume bars aren't centred within the grid lines, and price still shows .25 increments when it hovers to that price. For example, the DOM shows .50 increments, but when the price is at a .25 or .75 level, the price on my DOM goes to .25 or .75, and it's just awkward for the DOM, and it just overlaps on price. Do you have any clue how to fix this?

Do not change the Tick Size. You need to use the "Market Depth Combine Increment in Ticks" along with the "Apply Combine Increment in Ticks to Other Market Data Columns". Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Market Depth Combine Increment in Ticks (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Market Depth menu) Chart Settings: Apply Combine Increment in Ticks to Other Market Data Columns (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Market Depth menu) And if you are also wanting to aggregate data for volume studies (such as Numbers Bars and Volume by Price) then refer to the following setting for this: Chart Settings: Volume at Price Multiplier for Historical/Intraday Chart (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Data >> Volume at Price menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

The images I sent showed me already having those settings applied. I still can't figure it out. The DOM is only shown as 0.50000 like I want, but when price is moving around it still taps shows .25 & .75 for some reason, and the volume bars are all messed up and not aligned within the grid.

Is it true that Sierra charts won't let me have both of these? The core issue is that I want two things that conflict on a standard Chart DOM, like I want the volume numbers to line up perfectly within the grid (which requires Automatic scale range). Also, I want the price ladder to automatically slide up and down without freezing (which requires Constant Range scale range). On a Chart DOM (a DOM drawn directly onto a candlestick chart), Sierra Chart forces you to choose one or the other. It will not let me have both. So is this just how it is?

We are not really understanding the conflict that you are referencing. Can you please get us images of what are you seeing when you are in Automatic scaling versus Constant Range scaling and point out the issue between the two images so we can better understand.

The first pic scale range is set to 0 with Automatic, and the price isn't showing NQ in .50 like I want, but the volume bars look good. I changed it to a constant range, so it will move around, and I don't have to scroll. But, I changed my scale range to .50 so the DOM shows .50, and it just messes up the volume bars.

In order to get the scale to show in increments of 0.50, you would need to set the "Scale Increment" to "0.50". It shouldn't matter if you are in Automatic or Constant Range for this to work. I changed it to a constant range, so it will move around
We are not understanding this. If the chart is set to Automatic, then the bars will be adjusted so they are always visible on the screen. Are you using a specific Constant Range Scale Mode that is different from how Automatic works? t just messes up the volume bars.
We know that when the horizontal grid is displayed into the DOM, it may not line up perfectly with the volume profiles in the DOM, as the grid is offset in this case to not cross over the prices themselves. But it should not matter that the scaling is Automatic or Constant Range. You're correct, it's just zooming in and out on automatic, sorry for the confusion on that part. Still, though, no matter what I do, the volume bars don't align. Why is that? I read through the documents you sent and applied all the settings needed. I have my Chart Data "Volume at Price Multiplier for Intraday Chart" set to 2. I have scale range increments to .50. I applied "Apply Combine Increments in Ticks to Other Market Data Columns. I have "Market Depth Combine Increments in Ticks" to 2, and I didn't change my Tick size in symbol settings.

The Volume bar should align properly. Make sure you are not looking at the horizontal grid relative to the volume bars. The Volume bars should be correct, but we are aware that the horizontal grid may not line up properly - again, this is due to the offset that is done when extending the grid into the DOM.

I don't know what the problem is, but even when I auto-scale the DOM, the Volume is still off by a lot, and my DOM is showing .75 like 3 times in a row, then .50, then .25. I don't know what I did wrong. I've done exactly what you sent me through the documents. I sent a picture to give you an idea of what I'm looking at

Do you have the Scale Increment set to 0.50? Refer to the following: Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Scale Increment (Scale Settings) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Yes, but the volume bars still don't match up

As we stated, the grid is what is off, not the volume bars themselves. This is a known issue when you extend the grid into the DOM.

We are not certain of which issue you are referring to. There is the issue of the Scale not showing in increments of 0.50 and then there is the issue of the grid line not aligning with the volume bars. There is nothing we can do about the alignment of the grid with the volume bars at this time. Let us know the particular issue, so we can address it. If the scale is set to a Scale Increment of 0.50 and it is not showing that in your scale, then get us that chart so we can take a look. No, the scale setting works, it's just the volume bars not aligning with the grid lines. Do you know when this issue will be fixed or if it ever will?

We do not know when the grid issue in the DOM will be resolved. A solution is to not extend the grid into the DOM.

I turned it off and on, but no change occurred?

If you turn off the extension of the grid into the DOM, then you will not see the grid in the DOM, in which case the volume profiles in the DOM will not show the line being slightly offset in those volume profiles.
