I just recently upgraded to 2919 (issue with a self-written study)
and noticed that now all chartbook switches are painfully slow (about 3sec!)
It appears that it "switches into windowed mode", loads all charts and
only then maximizes again into the chart the was active (and maximized) before.
I never had taht issue before and it is a bit annoying, when trading multiple istruments.
Any way to "get back" to the way switching worked before? Is there a new feature associated with this?
Any help is appreciated. I could also make a video if my description was unclear

We think this is because certain windows like the trade windows are destroyed and re-created. This is for resource usage efficiency. This is necessary because of the inefficiency of the operating system. Three seconds is a lot though.

It will get significantly better once the trade window is reimplemented through a Control Bar. Which is not too far off.

That was already rather helpful. I had (just out of habit, because it never gave issues before)
"trade window attached to chart" on every window of every chartbook. I remove it on all but my "main"
chart, and it still does the midly annoying
"looking like it opens the other chartbook in windowed mode and than maximazes the one that I want"
thing, but it does it now in about 1sek.
