SPCX data on NQTV is sort of corrupted

SPCX is the ticker for SpaceX and it appears on the NQTV feed there is/was some other company also with the ticker SPCX-NQTV, data for this company going back to 2021. The price on the old SPCX was trading around $24 so now on the current chart there's a massive move to the present day SPCX around $165. Delete and download data doesn't work. If possible can you delete all the past data, thanks a lot. |

The problem with restricting the amount of data is you then have to create a separate chartbook just for SPCX, and that doesn't make sense when some people use just the one chartbook to quickly scan/look at several, maybe even hundreds of different stocks. The work around I've used is crude but works and only takes 10 seconds. With the daily SPCX chart open, click Edit > Adjust Data > Add/Subtract Amount and enter 150 > set the end date to 2026-06-04 (don't worry about the start date) > OK You're still left with all the past bogus data but it's compressed so now not relevant as the all-time High/Low of SPCX respects the Y axis correctly. Typical Sierra chart to have a little programming trick up its sleeve to sort problems like this out. Nice one! Date Time Of Last Edit: 2026-06-24 16:42:05

Chart Settings > Data Limiting is per chart, to my understanding other charts in a Chartbook are not affected by this limit. Unless link type days to load is also used.

Thanks ces but it didn't work, when I tried to enter the start date of 2026-06-12 the software didn't accept it. When I clicked Apply the software just moved the date back to 2020-12-16. The simple strategy I did above works so I'll just stick with that. All I want is for the Y axis to be the all-time high/low of SPCX. Thanks anyway for your input. |
