Which is more efficient? Tape from dom or tape from chart?

Is it more efficient to have the tape coming from the chart or dom? I like the refreshing at 100ms or faster. The dom is set to 50ms refresh rate. If it comes from the chart the refresh rate needs to be brought down to 100. If I pull the tape from the dom, then I'm able to leave the chart refresh at 350ms. Thank you for your help. |

If you want a fast refresh for the market depth data in a DOM, then it is best to do this in a Trading DOM where you do not have any additional overhaead of drawing bars or other studies.
