I sent a Yearly VWAP from Trading View and Sierra charts, both Daily TF. I'm curious about why my Trading View charts Yearly VWAP is plotted there, which is correct, and my Sierra charts Yearly VWAP says I'm already within it, and past deviations are skewed. On Sierra charts, I was using a Historical chart with 365 days loaded, and thought maybe the historical is the problem because they're plotted differently. I switched to intraday, and it didn't change at all. I changed the data load to 365 again, and still, my Yearly VWAP on Sierra charts won't mimic Trading View. I know Trading Views data isn't as good, but a deviation of this big doesn't make sense. All of my other VWAPS (D,W,M,Q) work and are plotted nearly identically to Trading View; it is only my Yearly that is plotted differently. I would love the reasoning and the help if you can. Thank you |

In order to see a difference in the VWAP when using Daily Historical data versus Intraday data, you need to set the Input for "Base on Underlying Data" to "Yes". Refer to the information for this Input in the following section: Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP) with Standard Deviation Lines: Inputs For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
