Question about ExampleChartbook charts 1-25

Hello,

I am trying to organize my Sierra Chart workspace and I have a question about the charts included in the ExampleChartbook.

I see charts numbered approximately 1 through 25. Before modifying or reusing them, I would like to know if these charts are only examples that users are free to modify and reuse, or if some of them are intended to remain unchanged because they are linked to specific ExampleChartbook functions.

Can charts 1 through 25 be reused and reconfigured for my own trading workspace, or should certain charts be left untouched?

Thank you.

If that were my question, I would simply open the ExampleChartbook and perform a "Save As" with whatever name. Then modify whatever you like in your new copy, and then you always have access to the original if need be.

You can change the charts however you like. They are just examples and you can change them.

Hola,

Gracias.

There is not a way to create a chart with a specific chart number.

When you duplicate a chart, the system is going to use the lowest number available within the list of charts.

Therefore, if you want a chart to be #1, then you first have to remove the existing chart #1. Then when you duplicate a chart, it will be chart #1.

If you wanted a Chart #3, then you would have to ensure that you have an existing #1 and #2, and not a #3, then when you duplicate you will get #3. And so on.
