I want to continue using Sierra Charts (this is for the ES Futures Only) for all my candlestick/footprints, DOM, but I am also interested in adding Bookmap for the Heatmap.

I spoke to AMP and I can get Rithmic through them to run Bookmap. If I use Rithmic (and the bridge below), will I no longer need to pay for anything (data, etc.) from Sierra Charts?

Practical Setup
Install Sierra Chart and Bookmap on your system.

If using Rithmic, install the Rithmic Bridge Files for Sierra Chart Sierra Chart.

Configure each platform to connect to the same Rithmic feed.

Optionally, run Sierra Chart in multiple instances so you can toggle between them or run Bookmap in one and Sierra Chart in another.

If using Rithmic, install the Rithmic Bridge Files for Sierra Chart Sierra Chart.

There is no such thing as "Rithmic Bridge" files. This was something that was used many years ago. But now the connection between Sierra Chart and Rithmic is done using a DTC connection, and that software is setup and owned by Rithmic.

Configure each platform to connect to the same Rithmic feed.

You can not do this, as the Rithmic setup to Sierra Chart does not allow for multiple connections.

Given the above restrictions, we do not think you can do what you are wanting.

I spoke to AMP and they said I could open a subaccount which would run bookmap using the Rithmic Data feed, and keep my current account for Futures in Sierra Charts.

Do you know if running 2 data feeds will slow down my sierra charts data/trade execution for the ES?

Having two separate Rithmic accounts will allow you to get Rithmic data to both Sierra Chart and Bookmap, but you will have to pay for the data for each account.

Typically, sub-accounts with Rithmic are connected together through the same login to a single Rithmic account (i.e. you have a single Username/Password pair but then have two accounts available . If this is the situation that AMP is proposing, then this will not work, as when you connect using that single Username/Password pair, then that overall Rithmic account is only accessible to Sierra Chart or Bookmap, not to both - that is, you have the same issue with the login as we originally mentioned.

In the end, you will not be able to find a way to get a single data feed to both Bookmap and Sierra Chart. You will have to pay twice for the data.
