I've been receiving these messages for the past 2 weeks or so: > Your payment in the amount of 48 USD, has failed. > > Reason: The Payment has been declined. > > Recurring Billing has been disabled for your account. > > First, you need to Remove the current card and enter a new card here: > https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=PaypalV2#PaymentForm > > Second, to re-enable recurring billing, click on the "Enable Recurring Billing" button in that same section linked to. First, PayPal has no record of any failed payments. All of my other recurring payments go through. Second, why is Sierra asking for a credit card in the first place? PayPal handles all the payment issues on their side, and Sierra should have no access to any sort of card data. Third, why is this continuing to fail? I've followed all the steps, and am still receiving these messages. |

I had the same problem with recurring CC payments some days ago (which worked fine since over 1 year), I also had to pay the data-fees using Stripe (which worked w/o any problem), so it seems it is a problem with their system.

WE have been seeing more declines from our payment processor of PayPal. We do apologize for this, but we do not have any control over it. Our recommendation is to try one of the other payment processors that we have available - Stripe or PayPal EC. Stripe typically works well and the PayPal EC is a different mechanism, so it may work even when the "PayPal V2" does not.
