Hi there, I am unable to get my retracement tool to show points or ticks in the labels. The only settings that work are the "Show Price" and the "Show Percent"

We are not able to reproduce this, so we are not sure what might be occurring.

Please get us that chart and your configuration file (Sierra4.config) so we can see if we can reproduce it with your setup. Refer to the following for how to get us the chart:
Support Board Posting Information: Providing Chartbook with Only a Single Chart

Follow these instructions to get us the Sierra4.config file which is located in your main Sierra Chart installation folder (typically C:\SierraChart):

I have attached the new chart book with all studies removed, as this is the retracement drawing tool. I believe I figured it out on my own through that process. It appears that all the labels for the retracement drawing will only show in region 1 within the window. I have my price chart in region 2 on my original chartbook, with a study by itself in region 1. Is there any way to get all the labels for the retracement drawing to show in other regions?

What you state is correct. When the Price Retracement (and probably other drawings as well, although we do not know offhand which are specifically setup this way and which are not) is used in a region other than Region 1, regardless of what is displayed in that region, then some of the display options will not work.

This is not really a bug, as it was designed specifically this way to be safe.

But, we have noted this as a Feature Request to have these tools allow for the display of the information when used in a region other than Region 1 and that region also contains the Main Price Graph.

To be safe? Is there an ETA for when everything will work across all chart regions? Another request I have is to be able to display different price charts vertically within the same window. Instead of having multiple different windows cascaded on my desktop, it could be one window with multiple charts cascaded in many different combinations.

It is not an ETA at all. One of the reasons items like the Tick Size are not displaying when you use a drawing in a region other than Region 1, is that the graph that is associated with that region most likely does not have a Tick Size. Therefore, it is not possible to display it, so it is simply not displayed.

We are not certain of what you are asking for with this, but refer to the following study that lets you have multiple symbols in a single chart:

My price chart is in region 4 and, in fact, does have a tick size, but the tick labels for the retracement tool do not show in this region. However, the tick labels show in region 1, which is a line graph of ABVDIFF-NQ, which does not have a tick size. That contradicts what you are saying, so maybe there is something I need to change to fix the ticks label only showing in region 1 (which region 1 does not have tick size), and the ticks label not working in region 4, with my price chart that does have tick size?

For my other request, I am aware you can add additional symbols with that study. However, unless I am wrong, they only stack vertically. Each additional symbol study either goes above or below another price region. I want them to be side by side. Left and right. Horizontally.

AVBDIFF-NQ does have a Tick Size of 1.00.

But it doesn't really matter, we were just giving a possible reason for why it is the way it is. In the end, it is this way at the moment. We have noted the request to allow the drawings to display the information in other regions.

There is no support for this directly in a single chart.
