I often have a “source” chartbook with several intraday charts open, and I’d like to use those same data series in studies that run on charts in other chartbooks in the same instance, without having to duplicate all the source charts. Is there a recommended way, or could you consider adding support, for: A study to reference a chart in another chartbook (by chart ID or symbol/timeframe), or A study to request a data series directly by symbol/timeframe instead of requiring a chart for that symbol in every chartbook where the study runs? This would save a lot of resources when working with multi‑symbol studies. |

There is no support for overlaying a study from a chart in another chartbook. You would have to have duplicates of those charts in the chartbook where you want that information. You can hide those charts to save on display processing. It is very doubtful that we would change how Sierra Chart is setup in this regard.
