Hi, I'm amazed at Claude I can now write Sierra Studies including footprints. I want to COMBINE data from NQ and 10% of MNQ into one footprint to trade with. What would be best way to do this if I add other symbol to main NQ chart and have study reference that symbol will it use same volume at price setting I often use 2 or 4 for NQ so want to make sure it has the same. OR should I leave it as a separate chart and have the NQ study get the footprint data from other chart with its same volume at price setting and take 0.1 of each value and create the composite TWO symbol profile? Curious your opinions on best way to do this to save time and hassle. Thanks! |

Also which is correct and fastest drawing of Delta or Split Profile footprint charts? ie which drawing function do you use in Numbers Bar study. Thanks. |

Claude can not figure this out gave me this to ask of you. --------------- Subject: sc.VolumeAtPriceForBars always returns GetNumberOfBars()=0 in custom ACSIL study on 1-minute chart Body: I have a custom ACSIL study with both sc.MaintainVolumeAtPriceData = 1 and sc.MaintainAdditionalChartDataArrays = 1 set in SetDefaults. On a 1-minute NQM6 chart with Rithmic data feed, sc.VolumeAtPriceForBars->GetNumberOfBars() always returns 0. sc.AskVolume[] and sc.BidVolume[] return correct data. The Numbers Bars built-in study works correctly on the same chart. What is required to populate sc.VolumeAtPriceForBars in a custom study? They will respond within hours. Once they tell us the missing step I will immediately build the complete working footprint study. |
