How To Change Color of Existing Text With Config Presets Without Deleting

Hello, I have the newest version of SC installed (2898) and the shortcuts I used to use to change the color of existing text on charts (drawing tool text) now seem to erase the text, or empty the text contents when it changes the color via loading a different config - in prior versions the preset configs allowed me to enter text in one color, then change it with a hotkey by selecting the text and loading a different preset configuration. Please let me know if this is still possible, and if so how - Thank you |

We are not seeing an issue with this offhand. What drawing tool exactly are you using where you have this issue? How are you changing the configuration for that drawing (Control Bar, Keyboard Shortcut, Right Mouse, from the Drawing Properties)? I use the type text tool, enter text into the initial pop up window, select ok, and this populates text on the chart. Then when I open the text properties window by double clicking on the text, which opens the text properties, and load one of the save configurations (which only change the text color variable, nothing else) the text contents disappears - this is true both via the text properties window and via hotkeys which are linked to tool config presets 1/2/3, etc. Thank you - |
