Hello,
I got a few questions about your historical data.
Your data does not go back all the way to where it started for many indexes. I want data like that. Can you do that for me? If not, can you please tell me where to get that?
And for the data I got on your software, how do I display all of it? E.g US30, the data range is 1988-03-15-----2014-10-27, but on your chart, I can only see the data that went back to 2002. where is the data before that?
Thanks!
Mike

Hello,
Thanks!
I have tried your suggestion. But the charts I get are the same. E.g USDX goes back only to 2011, US30 goes back only to 2002, XAUUSD goes back only to 2002.
Does this mean your data go back only this far? If so, can you tell me where I can get data further back, maybe from your data provider?
Thanks!
Mike

You can get data further back by using the Sierra Chart Historical Data Service.

You will need to use the symbols for that service which corresponds to the SC Forex Data service. Here is the documentation for this service:

Are you saying the Forex data is the only data that goes further back by “the SC Forex Data service” ?
Thanks!

We are not understanding the question.

Use the Sierra Chart Historical Data Service:

The dollar index symbol is $DXY

The Dow Jones industrial average symbol is $DOWI

Is the SC Forex Data service the only data that goes further back than 2002 ? And charts for symbols like US30 , XAUUSD go back only to 2002 ?

It is hard for us to answer this question without looking at every symbol and looking at the starting date.

For what you want there are these two services available:
Sierra Chart Real Time and Historical Forex and CFD Data Service
