Good Day,

This was done is Simulation mode.

My breakeven settings are below:

Type: Offset In Ticks Triggered
BE Level Offset: 2
Trigger Offset: 8

Using the example of a long position:
- So when I'm trading 1 contract, the breakeven executes as expected - my stop is moved to 2 ticks in profit, when price is 8 ticks above my entry price.
- However, when I'm trading 2 contracts, when price is 8 ticks above my entry price, my stop is not moved to 2 ticks in profit. I have to adjust my trigger offset to 4 in order for my stop to be moved to 2 ticks in profit, when price is 8 ticks above my entry price.

I'm new to Sierra Chart so please advise on what I may be missing.

Thanks!

The quantity should not matter for the "Move to Breakeven". So, offhand, you should have the Stop moving to 2 ticks in profit just like you did with a quantity of 1.

The only thing we can think is that with a quantity of 2, you may be using multiple targets and hance multiple stops. If this is the case, then the first option is to use a single Stop with the "Group" set to "All OCO Groups". Refer to the following for an example:

Thanks for the quick response. I'm not using any targets.

Below is my attempt to attach an image of the chart and my trade window to this message:

If I did it correctly, the image should show a short where I am in profit by 10 ticks, but my stop has not moved to 2 ticks in profit as configured in the trade window, which should have happened after being 8 ticks in profit.

We tested this setup and it is working just fine in Simulatin Mode for us.

One thing we note in your image is that the price has NOT gotten to the point where the Move to Breakeven would occur. The Position Average Price is 6639.25, and with a Move to Breakeven Trigger Offset of 8, the price would need to get to 6637.25. The current price is 6638.00, and the low of the most recent bar appears to line up perfectly with the grid at that same price (6638.00).

Ahh, ok I see it now. I was looking at the 10T in the trade line, thinking it was telling me how many ticks price has moved.

Thanks again!
